What's up, guys. I'm Matt with Bleepinjeep.com. Today, we're doing a quick DIY and Drive tutorial from Pull-A-Part Used Auto Parts. Let's do it. All right, so let's pull a door panel off of a '95 Cherokee. It's not too bad, but if you've never done it before, you might not know exactly how to get the sucker off. So really the only tool that you need is a Philips screwdriver, but you also might want a little pryer too if you want to save those plastic clips and save the panel, you can use this to help save those little clips.
All right, so first thing there's three screws right here, one, two, three, two screws here. Let's get those out. OK. Now, remember, when take these screws out, make sure to keep those, because you might need them whenever you get back to the house, and you've misplaced them. All right, next step. This little guy right here, if you've got a manual crank window, usually those will just pop right off. Usually. Here we go. Oh. Told you, pop right off. Next step, pull this thing out a little bit. That's about all you need right there. Now, we're going to pry these plastic tabs. I like to save them, use the little pry bar. So you just get behind each one, give it a little pry. That'll save-- it'll not only save the plastic tab, but those are in cardboard, and it'll save that cardboard from ripping out. OK, I've got all those plastic clips out. Now, if somebody has to put aftermarket speakers in here. You might have a couple of screws around here. Next thing we're going to do just, kind of, grab the two sides like this, and you're going to lift up and to the right. Now, we're going to put this thing through. Going to tilt it at an angle like that. Make sure it gets all the way through, and then we're just going to slide it out. That's it. There is your door panel.
Now when you go to put it on, it's pretty much the same process. You just clip it in there. There's this little channel right here. Clip it in, slide it over, and you fish this thing through, put all the screws back in. Now that was too simple. Let's go do it on a different door panel. OK, let's give this panel a shot. This is an '03 Liberty. Pretty much the same thing, just a different style of panel. So I see that there's a screw down here. I'm going to grab it. And then I can see that there is a little plastic tab covering a screw, so you just pull that tab off, pull your handle out, and there's a screw under here. OK, next thing, I can see this is going to give me some problems here, so I'm going to go ahead and twist that off. And as far as I can tell, that's all. We just need to pry this out, all these little clips. OK, feels like everything is loose now. Now, there's just this window channel holding it in, so I'm going to have to pry it up off of that. There we go. I just got it. Now, this one looks like there is a clip. Let me show you that. OK, so there's just this clip here, which unlocks and locks the door. So you push that over that unlocks it, and then you just push it down, OK. And the other one is just a electrical connection, so you push that in and pull it out. There we go. You've got your door panel. Let me show you these little doo dads. Now these are those plastic clips I was telling you about, and they just go inside of a hole. And they go down like that. When you pull them out, they make that sound. But these are handy to have, because you don't want to break those things, because that is what holds the panel on.
So that's it. All right, well, if you're just pulling a door panel to get something underneath, be courteous and set that aside. Other people might be after that. I appreciate you watching. We'll see you next time.
