HOW TO REMOVE A FENDER FROM A JEEP CHEROKEE
Recommended Tools
- Torx Socket Set
- 13mm Socket
- Flathead Screwdriver
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
Instructions

Open the hood and remove the bolts along the top of the fender. In this case that is done with a torx socket.

Remove the turn signal and headlight bezel to gain access to the front of the fender.

TIP - Use trans fluid or brake fluid to release stubborn bolts if you forgot your penetrating oil at home.

Remove the 13mm bolts from behind the turn signal area.

Unscrew and remove the grill. Start to remove the front clip from the radiator support just enough for you to gain access to the front of th

Unbolt 3 more torx bolts to loosen the front of the fender.

TIP - Keep all the nuts, bolts, and other things you remove as you might need those for your install at home.

Pull the plastic skirt from the fender well with a plastic clip puller or a flat blade screwdriver.

Unbolt the strap at the top of the inner fender, unbolt a few bolts near the front, and a few more near the back using torx and regular sockets.

Open the door and use a torx socket on an extension to unbolt the last 2 torx bolts from the fender. Pull the fender from the vehicle.
