Monthly Projects

There are a few projects that we recommend that you take care of every month to check in on your vehicle and make sure that you are helping to prolong its lifespan. Every month you should:

  • Check your engine light
  • Test your lights
  • Inspect your tires
  • Check your windshield washer fluid
  • Clean the interior and exterior of your vehicle

Quarterly Maintenance

Every three months, or every 3,000 miles (whichever comes first) you should inspect and change the following if necessary:

  • Automatic transmission fluid
  • Battery and cables
  • Belts
  • Check engine light (is it on?)
  • Engine oil and filter
  • Exhaust
  • Fuel filter
  • Hoses
  • Lights
  • Power steering fluid
  • Tire inflation, tread, and general condition
  • Windshield washer fluid

6 Month Check-In

Every six months, or every 6,000 miles (whichever comes first) you should inspect and change the following if necessary:

  • Automatic transmission fluid
  • Battery and cables
  • Belts
  • Chassis lubrication
  • Check engine light (is it on?)
  • Polish
  • Engine air filter
  • Engine oil and filter
  • Exhaust
  • Fuel filter
  • Hoses
  • Lights
  • Power steering fluid
  • Tire inflation, tread, and general condition
  • Windshield washer fluid
  • Wiper blades

9 Month Maintenance

Every nine months, or every 9,000 miles (whichever comes first) you should inspect and change the following if necessary:

  • Automatic transmission fluid
  • Battery and cables
  • Belts
  • Check engine light (is it on?)
  • Engine air filter
  • Engine oil and filter
  • Exhaust
  • Fuel Filter

Annual Checks

Every year you should do a major inspection of your vehicle to make sure that you are staying on top of its required services. We recommend doing this in an easy month to remember like January to set yourself up for success for the rest of the year. Every year, or every 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) you should inspect and change the following if necessary:

  • Automatic transmission fluid
  • Battery and cables
  • Belts
  • Brakes
  • Cabin air filter
  • Check engine light (is it on?)
  • Polish
  • Coolant (Antifreeze)
  • Engine air filter
  • Engine oil and filter
  • Exhaust
  • Fuel filter
  • Hoses
  • Lights
  • Power steering fluid
  • Steering and suspension
  • Tire inflation, tread, and general condition
  • Windshield washer fluid
  • Wiper blades
