Job Description

Pull-A-Part, LLC, a leading DIY used auto parts retailer and recycler has the perfect opportunity for an excellent Engine Disassembler. As a vital member of the Pull-A-Part processing team, our disassembler removes and sorts the component parts of automobile engines for recycling.  In addition, engine disassemblers and automotive dismantlers often assist in the general labor activities on the salvage and recycling yard. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the general labor activities on the salvage and recycling yard
• Safely operate industrial equipment
• Dependable/reliable and committed to working required hours, including occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of engines and their component parts
• Experience with forklift operation and heavy equipment preferred
• Excellent ability to use both hand and power tools
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift 50lbs, and stretch as required by a specific task
• Must have reliable means of transportation to work
